Rohan Mehta completed his A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Spanish at Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith, and now reads Statistics, Economics and Finance at UCL. He is driven by the belief that business and economics can be powerful tools for social change, an interest he developed through the Wharton Essentials of Entrepreneurship summer programme and his school's Empowering Entrepreneurs course.
Rohan's concern for London's homeless community began early. As a child he wanted to understand why people ended up on the street and what could be done about it, and that question turned into action: small donations at first, then shifts in food kitchens, then something of his own. He founded In the Bag to make a direct, practical contribution to a problem too easily walked past.
Outside his work, Rohan enjoys exploring London with friends, cooking and playing golf.
