Basics in a Bag Drive

After extensive outreach to identify organisations working with vulnerable communities in London, In the Bag partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and Chelsea and Fulham Methodist Churches (King's Road Community Drop-in ). Following discussions with coordinators from each organization to better understand the needs and gaps of the communities, we assembled our first set of hygiene kits. In February 2024, we made our first donation of approximately 30 hygiene kits containing shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, dental and shaving supplies, combs and socks which were well-received. Since then, an additional 70+ kits have been distributed to various facilities in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham. We continue to build support and momentum from local and international partners who are helping us with advice and resourcing to increase our impact. We are grateful for the support of local businesses, who have donated supplies for this work.
